SYNOPSIS

On the evening of May 5, 1972, an Alitalia plane flying from Rome to Palermo crashed into Montagna Longa, near Palermo’s Airport. There were no survivors. The case was quickly dismissed as an accident. Among the passengers was Franco Indovina, a rising film director, famous in the tabloids for his love affair with Princess Soraya. His daughter Lorenza —now an actress—  was only six years old at the time.
Almost fifty years later, at the end of a theater show in which she is starring, Lorenza is approached by a group of relatives of the victims. Their statement: her father did not die in an accident, but in an attack. The group’s obsessive search for a better truth to believe in involves her too. But more than the legal investigations, what overwhelms her most are her family memories, resurfacing from the oblivion where she had buried them long ago.
